Haringey School Admissions has informed us that your child will be starting at Lea Valley Primary School this September.
We are happy to welcome you to our school community and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for applying for a place at Lea Valley Primary. We are looking forward to developing positive relationships with you and ensuring that your child has the very best start to their time at Lea Valley Primary.
At this stage I would normally be inviting you to a Welcome Meeting and giving you important information about the school. Unfortunately, due to the current situation we will not be holding any meetings at present.
We will keep in touch with you and keep you updated on when we will be able to hold this meeting, where we will also talk about the arrangements for their first few weeks at school.
Paperwork
1. I have attached our school admissions form, due to lock down measures, we have moved most of our forms to be online. It is extremely important that you fill in the attached form and return it to us via email to admin@leavalley.haringey.sch.uk by 5th June 2020. Please simply type your full name in the signature section, there is no need for this to be handwritten.
2. I have also attached a handout detailing how to apply for Free School Meals. This must be done online via https://www.haringey.gov.uk/children-and-families/schools-and-education/school-application-forms/free-school-meals-fsm-and-clothing-grant. Lunch is free for children upto Year 2, but this online form needs to be filled to ensure the school is receiving the correct funding for your child.
